I will be showing regular progress photos from July 1 2007, when regrettably dyed my hair medium brown instead of my usual blonde. It's been a bit of a crazy ride since then. I'm anxious to see just where the length of my hair ends up.

After attempting to restore my colour to my favourite blonde shade after a 9 month brunette experiment, I felt the need to cut 5 inches off my hair for optimum health in my growing adventure. As my hair is still more gold than I'd like, I may have to just maintain a length for a while. I'm very happy with the healthy feeling, blunt ends though.
It's been a long time since I posted progress photos,as I've been maintaining relatively the same length since July of 2008. I've been gradually cutting out the previously brown-dyed hair, which was somewhat orangey and more damaged than I like. I'm now back to a growing phase, and I hope to hit mid-back by the end of the year. I've also cut full bangs. Come grow with me! :)
Well, there's no visible difference between May and August because I cut 2 inches off of my somewhat damaged v-shaped hemline. The V-shape wasn't so obvious when my hair was fanned out, but it was a pretty sharp V. So only the sides of my hair have filled out since May, but it's more difficult to see in a photo than it is to feel it when I'm making a braid or an updo.
Given that I've trimmed twice since February, I am happy with my progress in six months. I should be at BSL by the end of the year, and at waist length by August 2011. The next quarterly update in November should show quite a bit of growth.

Also, I have just reached a milestone this month. The photo on the right shows that my hair is now firmly at BSL. I expect to be at or almost at waist length by some time next summer.

Well, it's been almost two years since I've updated, but real life got in the way. I haven't grown all that much, as I was maintaining for quite a while to get rid of the thinness caused by a hormonal shed. I am back to growing again, and my hair is about three inches from being firmly at waist length. My hair is also cut in a straight-across hemline, which makes it look longer from the front. I'm pleased with my hair right now, and I'm looking forward to where I go from here.
Here is a side-by-side progress photo.
